12" subs for this box?

i'm picking up an '05 silverado ss tomorrow and looking to add subs to the bose stock setup. subthump has a box that fits under the rear seat that can take a pair of 12s. what i'm looking for is suggestions as to what kind of subs would work the best. i'm looking for good sq with deep bass.

it has .92 cu.ft per chamber and up to 7" mounting depth.

what do you guys suggest? i was thinking a pair of idq v.2 12s but open to other's opinions. i would like to stay around $150 - $200 per sub. suggestions for an amp to power them are also welcome.

i'd actually go with the ov's they suggest. They have remarkable sq...maybe not the greatest, but they're not too bad and they get down low.

or yea^^^check out some idq's or maybe even some SI BMs

your limited with shallow subs on a silverado.I know I have one.Subthump does a decent job

on all thier boxes (I have seen a few)

I would go with the Ov's as well .....They sound nice IMO for what they are..Most of

the newer subs they make these days worth owning are pretty deep

Maybe the PG RSDs will fit?

I think some Stereo Intergrity BM's would sound very good. (Maybe not, didnt think about the size) lol

I dont have the extended, or ultra deep box, and I've had CVR, SoloBaric, and powerBass in here.....the powerbass was pretty good, but faded within an hour. The CVRs....they took a pounding and kept delivering. The solos? They shake the hell out of my roof, and they're louder and deeper than the cvrs. (and not to mention they are 6 years older than the cvrs were)

You need a sub thats made for small sealed enclosures. Period. 4 Inches of Xmax on a 3" coil wont help. You have less than an inch from the sub to the floor. Whichever sub u pick, make sure they are aimed more for small sealed boxes. Just my opinion.

thanks, guys. i'll probably go with two idq. i had one in a ported enclosure in my gti and it sounded really good. just wanted to see what others had to recommend.
