My friend wants to purchase my 1.8 cu ft ported enclosure tuned to 30 hz along with my MTX amplifier that is rated at 400 watts RMS.

He also wants to purchase a 12" Re Audio subwoofer.

Which sub would you recommend to him if he had the setup I mentioned above?

He is not really into SQ as I am, but he wants his bass to be loud and extremely low. Which sub would be better off with 400 watts RMS?

Thanks

thanks for the replies guys

with 400 watts, dont you think that he will be underpowering the SE while reaching full potential with the SR?

any reputable sites where he can get these subs?

I spoke to a couple of reps and they both told me that the SR was the ideal sub for my friend's setup.

What I thought was cool is how they didnt push for the more expensive SE sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I also voted for the SE, we used to be a RE dealer, (we dident resign in 08) And even with less power i still liked the SE over the SR. also if he had bought the SE if he wanted more bass he could have stepped up his game on the power side and been ok still
