I can't even imagine needing any more bass than what even an SE is capable of. My brother has been running one on 400 watts ported, tuned to 32hz, for a year and a half now and it will about shake his 2006 G6 into pieces. The plastic piece between the sunroof and the windshield with the map lights on it must bounce up and down an inch. Not only that but it sounds great doing it. I don't have any experience with any of the 3 listed products, but I can say in mine and my brother's experience RE has been great to us. The old RE HC I used to have running on 1200rms daily in a large ported box was insane.

I'm also trying to decide between Fi Q 12" and Re Sx 12" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
I am going with the RE's I had the RE SE10's and they were awesome, so I am going to stay with RE. Plus all the great advice from this forum:D

I want a SQ sub that gets hella loud. I know the SE's will get loud and sound good doing it. I just dont want to chance blowin em.
I havent ruled out the ssa icon. I am just leaning toward the RE cause of the looks and price. I really feel that the icon would probably be the best woofer for me, as far as funtionality.

I am in the exact same boat as you.

1000 watts looking for a single 12" loud!!! SQ sub to replace 2 12" OZ ME's

I checked out the idmax, RLp, 13w6v2, Fi Q, and the new SI Mag

I think I will be waiting for the new mag. It was tested in a .5cu sealed with 1kW and it hit 134.8db!

I just bought 2 re se12d4s, and if I was you, I would simply run 4 re se12d2s at 4ohm each to a one ohm load. 4 of them will definitely not blow off 1750rms. Or run the re se12s4 at 4ohm each to one ohm load. If space is a problem screw it, throw 'em in a sealed, ea ones optimal sealed is 1 cubic foot, thats only 4 cubic feet total. With 4 it'll beat.

oh ya, some1 say they were 500rms/apeice??? their six hundred rms/ea.

and you can get 'em for so cheap.
