12" RE SX okay with single baffle?

Heres the deal. I've been interested in getting a 12" RE SX (or something similar - power wise)

I have 2 boxes for 12's (one single one dual, crappily built by me), both 2 cubes tuned to about 32hz.

I originally built them for my se's, but i've been wanting to try sx's. As said, they are single baffle... would I be able to run an sx in single or should I just rebuild and do a double (or possible to cut another piece and glue it on now? lol)

Cliffs: Will a 12" re sx kill a single baffle or not?

should be fine if its 3/4 mdf.. but it doesn't hurt to build it stronger

You can glue/screw a 2nd baffle on top of the current one.

thats the box. i just have polyfil in there cause i took it outta a sealed box and didnt have a bag to put it in.... but yeah, its not pretty cause i never covered it, but if i decide to use it, i'll cover it and make it pretty.

the SX aint a heavy woofer. as long as your screws are good and they are biting into the wood properly, your fine
