12" Memphis MOJO @ 1ohm??

Can I run my 12" Memphis MOJO at 1 ohm? I want to run my amp at 1 ohm until I get another amp to power this thing. BTW right now the mojo is powered by a memphis st-1000d but at 2 ohm its only pushing 600watts. Sorry if this is a dumb question but Im a noob to this stuff for the most part

no, since your at 2ohms now im sure you have a D4 configuration. Meaning 2ohms or 8ohms only, get another D4 mojo and you can run them at 1ohm

I have It hooked up +/+ , -/- and then + from 1 vC to amp and - from other VC to amp. If that makes sense. But my amp is mono with 2 sets of terminals.... Thanks for quick response

Also the sub is in a slot ported box, Ive always ran sealed in the past. What will the mojo sound like in a sealed box? Im looking for tight hard hittin SQ from this 12!!
