Hey First i want to say I have learned everything from this website and have used it for years! this is the first time i took pics of any part of the build.

This box used to be 2.74^Ft @ 32Hz but with only a kicker 650wrms amp it couldnt push hard enough. (well not compared to my old setup. 2 MTX 10" 8500's off a hifonics BXi1600. that was loud!! tuned to about 40Hz. )

So when i got a new car the box was 1/2 too wide to fit between the pillars in the back so i cut the box down from 32"W to 30"w and pulled the port out. i used RE's enclosure calculator to get the tuning right. i built the box to be tuned to 35hz after port and sub disp. then i added interneal bracing in the corners so that bumped me up to 36-37Hz! Its great!! little too boomy sometimes but It hits the LOWS!

Box now is 30" X 15" X 15". Internal Vol is 2.5^Ft and the port is 2.5"W @ 23 3/4"

long. My amp is a Kicker 650Wrms Monoblock. Big 3 install. 85 Amp alt. 4GA. wiring and a Alpine CDA6886! the pics are from yesterday when i carpteted the box.

Enjoy!!

I will keep updating as i do installs! thanks alot

currently I like it its loud enough, the next thing on my list is front and rear speakers. factory ones are ok... horn tweeters. in the rear there are some old 2-way polk audio's that still sound good. If i do i would get another Sx650-1 and externally bridge it

nice score man

those integra's are easy to get loud in, we had 2 Kicker comp 15s doing like a 146.x, off not a ton of power either, maybe 800 or 900watts

sub up port back in those cars are loud

Definitely, the wedge shape of the hatchback. i had a Second Gen Eclipse with one mtx ten in it off a 400 watt amp it was nice, not hella loud, when i put that same setup in me jeep it was not even close, could barely feel the bass.

Most hatches are easy to get loud in. I did a 148.9 on an old AC mic, so around 145 on the TL in my old Corolla hatch from years ago on two 12 Orion xtr's and a MMats 700 watt amp. Miss the acoustics of that car.

Nice score and nice looking box, just recommend painting the port.

Also I really liked my CVX off 750rms, but could only manage a 138 out of it on the TL in a sealed box in the trunk of my Focus ST.

Enjoy!

Very sweet dude!!!!

I got a 3rd gen myself with one 12 too. Nobody would believe it was only one 12 if they didnt see it with their very own eyes!

Tegs get loud but not very loud outside the car surprisingly.

Thanks!

I only had Flourecent Green paint at the time.... not a good mix! lol

Only 100 more watts than me. Now i wonder what it would do with 1200Wrms...
