12" Kicker Comps

I have two brand new 2005 12" kicker comps and was wandering what would be the best amp to use with them.....there hooked up as a 4ohm load and they are in a ported box.

well it kind of depends on which model you have if you have the comps or the compVR's if you have the comps i would go with a 2 channel amp or with an amp putting out about 300-400 and 2 ohms. if its the compVR depending on the coil config. i would probably go with an amp that is 1 ohm stable that puts out a pretty good amount of power probably hifonics or someone like that

i got the comps........i dont want to high of a price range so prob around 100 to 300

Xtrmaudio- he just said... kicker comps... he didn't add VR... It would be annoying as whatever to go around saying "i have kicker comps, and no not the VR's"

I'm assuming they are dual 4ohm subs, which means you can either bridge a 2 channel amp or have a 1ohm mono amp(preferred). What's ur price range?

This will serve you well(assumming they are dual 4ohm subs wired in a final 4ohm load, so u can use a 2 channel bridged amp, like this one, and it's well within ur price range: http://www.cardomain.com/item/MTX342

no guys there not dual 4 ohm. there actually the 8 ohm comps wired to a 4 ohm load.

for 2 kicker comps i put a profile amp on them and lets just say they sound GOOD

thing is, the amp is cheap
