I bought an audiobahn amp: (A2150HC 2 Channel 1200 watt) i have a truck box with two sorry offbrand (double bass twelves). and i have a two channel 300 watt jensen amp. right now im running the subs off the jensen amp because they sound a little better, i guess 1200 watts was too much for those twelves.

i want to buy two 12" subs that will hit very hard but not over like say 200 bucks on ebay could .i was thinking about the kicker compvr 12"s

these subs are limited to less than 6" in depth because they will be in a truck box.

please help, thanks a lot!

I was debating the exact question. I ended up with the comp vrs for 2 reasons....

1) They were cheaper 2)They sounded a lot louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The type-r's were clean...almost too clean to even be a sub haha. I liked my cvrs for the half hour my amp worked (not related to the subs, just an amp prob)

The Alpines are a lot cleaner and anything can get loud if installed right, it's just up to you on what you want to spend and how you are installing it.

well i bought the kicker comp vr's last night on ebay so i will get them soon and see what happens. they will be 4 ohm, i know i have to parallel or something like that but im not sure how and i want to bridge my audiobahn amp to run at 1 ohm i think is what you would call it.... essentially i want to run my amp as loud as i can on these subs without blowing them

how should i wire them?

Is this a blue or blue/white wire from the Kenwood? The ACC wire is red and although that should turn on the amp, it is not the prefered wiring...
