12" HDC3 and ab 500.1 *VID*

So i put it in last night at 4ohm for a bit....but annoyed me, so today wired to 1ohm

Now, my full tilt is set to around 45 out of 50 volume....when i get to about 40 it bottoms out, mechanical noise. Maybe from not breakin in or not...dk just yet

Most this video is with vol at 35

But after all that.......WOW....this thing is really soooo much more authority on the lows than i woulda thought.....its hard to explain really

When i had the BTL in at .5 in same box it was muchh louder and would not make any complaints about the power....and was nice on the lows...but the HDC its more like a wave of pressure than a musical note when it plays lows

Even at lower volume its just more feeling than the BTL, but not as loud, granted its 1ohm to .5ohm.....but again...only a few minutes of play time, still might need to loosen up a bit

what kind of box do they like.. Income tax's are comming back and i wouldnt mind getting a set of these and throwing 2500 watts at a pair.. Currently i have a 4.2 box tuned to 35 hz... 45 square inches of port...

oh yeah lots of ppl were saying these want tons of power but u had that moving nicely with 1000

id say a sundown 1500 would be nice

an ab500.1 does a good bit more than a 1kw

Who knows.....ill wait til it breaks in a bit to see if it loosens up more and lets me turn it up

Maybe 3000-3500 is a decent guess

Yep...ima go play with it some more in a lil bit....get some hours under its belt

Also another weird thing i just happened to notice, like with windows up, the HDC is a tonnnn more louder on the lows

Most times the lows would be a lil muffled when all sealed up for me, but this seemed to not mind, and still got louder on lows when windows down
