hey yall,

I saw on the net a pair of 12" audiobahn AW-1251X for $99. what I was woundering is "are these any good and about what spl will they hit. thanks in advance.

I don't know about that model but audiobahn has pretty nice spl but the sq is a little bit crappy

LOL......is there some rule i didn't hear about where if somebody mentions audiobahn, the first post below their question must say "they have bad sq"?

First off, don't waste your money on the 1251's. Those are the el-cheapo "natural sound" subs. They absolutely ****. I promise that my single 1200Q is way louder than any pair of 1251's that you'll ever find. You can get one on ebay for $93 plus $17 shipping or from my buddies at IkeSound.com for $110 w/ free shipping. Ten bucks more, and I promise you'll love it. If you like the way the 'bahns sound, just get a 1200Q and put the same power to it you were planning to give the pair of 1251's. It will sound better, louder and will last way longer than those crappers.

well thats nice my man but I am sure that the four 12 Q's I have mean I have never heard any bahns now if I did not like them I probably would not own four of them

sorry to tell you that though and no I cannot tell a big difference you are right but that is what most people will say so I figured I would say it first
