ok guys... i hooked up my cd player a long time ago and im pretty sure i have it hooked up right. i have the red and yellow wires into the 2 other hotwires that came stock with my car. its a 1989 mustang 4 cyl. if that helps any. i cut the stock wiring harness from my car. and when i leave my car sitting for more than a day, my battery goes dead. i dont no what it could be! could some one please help?!??!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

your red wire is an accessory, supplied power should only be when your ignition is on. the yellow should be to the hot wire tho. However, unless your radio is on all the time(while sitting), i don't think that is your problem.
