1100-1500 watt amp guage question

i havent decided yet, but from what i looked at, they all have 4g power and ground inputs. its going to a mb quart 15. 1400max 700 rms. what would be a good wattage amp?

yeah exaclty thats what i have got from people before(8g enough) and what guage would i use from the terminals to the amp to the box terminals, and b.terminals to the sub?

its just a preference, but when you say awg, you speak of a size that runs true with american wire guage. Its like a standard for wire sizes. Sometimes when you buy crap wire, like "4 guage" amp kit for like 25 bux, you then notice its the same amount of copper as stinger 8 awg wire, just the coat is just bigger to make it seem like thicker wire. So if you sell wire under "4 guage" name you dont do anything illegal because you arent comparing it to the true american wire guage standards. It might very well be 4 guage in conjunction with the size of industrial grade wire.
