i am building a ported box for a 10w7, has anybody done this and not used jl audios recommended slotted portand just use a round or any other port?

i went to their website but i dont want to use their recommended enclosure for space and design purposes, i want to build a custom box but need port specs. i will probably just email jl, i will by using a 500/1 for power.

that's exactly what i'm saying though jl puts their ft3 measurements on their site so go by that

still confused just message me back you definitely want the box built to specs

for the 10w7 they only give a sealed and a ported box example but i cant use either one, i have to make a different ported box so it will fit in my car, so the design they give wont work for my installation, so i know what the design will be, i just need to know port specs to match my box, like tuning freq and size.
