Im looking to put a system into my 2000 camaro. This will be my first. Origianlly i was going to get 2 12 pioneer TS-W306 DVC's but after thinking about it, im not worried so much about how loud it can get. I want something with good sound quality. Should i consider getting 2 10's instead? (TS-W256 DVC's). Also, are Pioneers decent for SQ?

The Pioneers are good subwoofers. I dont know why people think that a 10" sub will automatically have more SQ than a 12" sub. The 12 can sound just as good. Put them in a proper sealed enclosure, and they will sound nice, and the 12's will get lower than the 10's...

10's or 12's wont make a big diffrence in the sq. All this will depend on your budget on what you should do. But most people just getting involved in car audio, I always use to let them get some of the older (better) kicker comp vr's or some jl audio w3's these should keep the average joe happy all around and not break the bank. But in your car it is very easy to get loud in. So if you want something nice I would just get 2 12's that are decent in a prefab box and call it a day that should be more than enough for you and keep your budget low

What would be a good amp for the pioneer 2 12 TS-W306 DVC's? Im' getting a mono amp. Should i look for a 2 ohm stable amp or a 1 ohm stable? Their max power is 1000 and rms is 400. I'd like to keep the amp price under $200 if possible.

It all depends on the quality of the sub. I've go a 15 that with the little testing I've done has just as quick of a response as my 10.

Get an SI 12 d2. One of these will be solid in your car.

Call or email to get a price quote. They sell them for quite a bit lower than the price listed on the website.
