1000wrms 2 ch class a/b

I need a 1000-1500wrms 2 channel clas a/b amp on the cheap. Throw up some suggestions. I am going to be comparing it to a class d. My ears are going to be the judge of which one i will use, and i will write up a full post for everyone. But first i have to find a decent quality one for pretty cheap, so i neeed suggestions.

amp will be ran at 2ohms per channel stereo on two pg rsd12d's

No kW 2-channel A/B worth owning is going to be "cheap".

I don't really know of many besides the USAmps beasts that were half ohm stereo stable...

2 ohm stereo not half ohm,. also used is fine.

I don't know any 12VDC amps that satisfy that. Something like a QSC or Crown for 120VAC use, maybe...

maybe you aren't thinking about this correctly, i could also run it at 4 ohms bridged if that makes more sense to you. I need the price around 200 bucks.

What class D are you comparing this to? Cause I dont think your going to get any quality stuff for that price.

its rated at 500w, but its closer to 1000

Even if you have the best-trained ears, human hearing just sucks for detecting distortion in the subbass range. For the entire spectrum up to 20KHz, there'd be more of a valid discussion...
