I currently have a PG xenon 600.1 amp, which I will be using to power my imcoming FI.Q.12"

Mine does not have the BP power option, and it is rated at 1000 rms.

My question is, should I get a new, more powerful amp, or just keep my current one?

I need one that is not going to break the bank, and will put out a solid 1000w at 1 ohm. New options only please, because everything else is new.

I was looking at the pdx1.1000, but I was wondering if I can get similar quality at a cheaper price.

that pdx is a nice amp. if looking cheap though, you can get a cadence txa1000d for $199 shipped direct. i have one and no complaints at all, other than the size. so if space is spare don't bother with it.

I am already going to be using the PDX1.150 for my speaker amp, so I guess the 1.1000 is a logical choice. It will look pretty nice having both amps mounted in tandem.

I should mention that I am going to be running these two amps off of stock electrical, so I think I would need them to very efficient.

250.00

I use a 9.1 to power my Q in my truck, this one is for sale from my RSX....( i had 2)

why not just run the x600.1? most of them are rated more at 800w and if you don't have enough volume, then get a bigger amp. is it dual 2 ohms? i'd wired it in series at 4ohms which is optimized for that style amp.
