1000 watts jl or memphis?

Im debating on which one of these i want to get. I just sold my other 1000 watt memphis amp because some girl gave me more for it than i paid for it. Now I am looking around, and i am debating between another memphis PRD1000.1 and a jl audio 1000/1. Anyone think one sounds better, or peforms better? Ive found some deals on these and the price is not going to be that different.

am i reading this right, it says that the jl gives 1000 watts at any ohm load?

Jl is a good amp at higer amp loads but once you lower it draws alot more current to get the power.

4ohms very good amp and you get great power under that load wise and its a very pricy amp for not alot really.

If you need it for a 1 ohm load, the Memphis is the better choice.

The JL doesn't draw much more current running at 1 ohm as it does at 4 ohm BTW.

the jl amp is very power hungry, but flexible iirc. the memphis amp will be less of a strain and more efficient
