1000 watts differences in amps

For guys who have used different types of amps, do you notice the difference in bass from using a 1000 watt JL Audio Slash series amp, 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate power series 1000 watt or Sundown Audio 1000 watt amp or Power Acoustic or other brands. Or does 1000 watts sound the same regardless of the brand of the amp? Obviously some brands will be made of higher quality materials.

Thanks

I think the Jl audio amp might give better output if the vehicle lacks a good electrical system because the jl audio slash series amps put their rated power from 12 up to 14volts or somehting like that...

Now there areother amps that get rated on 12 volts, and if you system is running something like 14volts i think it might put out alot more output

Just my $.02

of your examples - the PA is most likely going to give you less bass because compared to JL/Sundown etc it won't produce as much power. A JL rated for 1000w will probably be capable of 1100 or more while the PA will tend to be 700-800. Not a huge difference in sound, but enough that you'd hear it.

More importantly JL has better features, better CS, and will almost certainly last a lot longer.
