Im pretty sure the new type R's can take 1500 to them. My buddy did a thermal test comparing the two at their rated RMS over 30 min and the older type R was 30% hotter than the new.

Its because I am clipping it. When I set the gain right, zIt doesnt sound how I want it too. Dont lecture me. I know how to set the gains. I just choose to make it louder.

Alright haha, I wouldn't recommend it though. That's exactly how I blew my last Type r
