1000 watt 5 channel question

I have a 1k 5 channel and have a few questions about it.

I will be running one set of components plus front 4x6 dash speakers. I eventually want to add one ten inch sub to the mix. I am planning on having all the speakers wired to my 5 channel and eventually use the fifth channel for a low power 10 inch. I am wondering if I should purchase an capacitor. I have 0 gauge running power and ground.

All I can do right now for sound since I have a Jeep.

Recap:

One set of MB quart components rms=70wt

One set of Kenwood 4x6 rms=45?

Eventually one 10 inch no more than 300 rms.

One 1000 watt 5 channel powering all speakers.

0 gauge wiring for the power/ground.

Do I need a capacitor.

Also what is the difference between dual voice coil and single?

Thanks,

Chris

- no cap. If you're concerned about voltage, buy a small secondary battery

- dvc subs offer more wiring options. For example; a 4 ohm svc sub can only be wired straight to the amp @ 4 ohms. a 4 ohm dvc sub can be wired to either 2 or 8 ohms.
