1000 dollars to spend

soo i just got my insurance check after getting my two 15" L7s jacked. Each was getting 1000 rms and it bumped pretty hard. It looks like i can replace my system on Ebay for around $1000. My question is should i stick with what i had or find something else? What could outperform my previous system for around $1000? I was thinking maybe four 12" type r's off of a 2500d but ive never heard a setup like that before so i wouldnt know how it would compare with the L7's. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I no 1 10" TYPE R off a orion 2500d did a 150db. SO its all in the install.
