Sorry, just joshing. I'm new to the forum and jus t trying to get attention.

I live in Missouri, southeast part of the state, where Mo., Ky., and Il. come together. I'm 44 year young and i drive a River tug for a living. I've been prowling this forum for some time, just never joined in. Well i finally decided to build a system for my car and i liked your forum,so here I is.

My car is a sweet little 2006 Mustang GT. Here's what i'd like to do:

1. New HU... probable Pioneer Avic unit

2. 6.5 components up front... love the CDT,s

3. Sub in Trunk.... single 10" in custom box so i can still get stuff in the trunk.

4. Amps for comps and sub.

I'm gonna bug the crap outta you folks with questions.

If anyone has suggestions about any component, i'd love to here them.

This will be my first system build up, so all help and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks for your time. Bill Brooks

welcome to the forum there is definitely a lot that can be learned on here. Also if your willing you can snag some pretty good deals in the classifieds, lots of people here changing up systems and selling nearly new stuff for good prices.

First off, pictures of the car.

Second off, a price range for us to keep you in.

The Avic D3 and CDT Components is a great start to the system, and so is the idea of a single ported 10. Not much room in those trunks

With the 10" Woofer, are you wanting it to get loud for a 10 and sound decent or are you more of a sound quality type person? I'm assuming sound quality...

I was doing 143 plus street beat average with a single DD 9510 in the trunk of my 06 Saleen....That is plenty loud enough for the average person anyone that heard it was more than impressed and thought I had about 2 12's in it.....I guess because it hit so low.....Their jaws would drop when I popped the trunk and had one little 10 looking back at them...lol
