Whats wrong with that Cherokee??? That **** thing is fawkin awesome
What is RIGHT with it? Cheap *** 6" front coil spring spacers, half *** welded together panhard bar (that is not even on the same plane as the drag link like it should be) That thing is a rolling nightmare. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Yup I see what your talking about now, I did'nt look at the closeups that thing is a pos...Looks as if he have stacked blocks??
Great stance though.
i have blocks in the rear of my truck, i will be going with an add-a-leaf this summer, just to get rid of some of the block. but any new truck has blocks in the rear.

Blocks in the rear are okay, but they create serious axle wrap. Blocks in the front are a hell NO! Especially some cheap coil spacer that has been stacked. If they had done the build the right way, they would have used coilovers in the front instead of coils only. With the panhard bar being way off plain and those coils, I bet it is a real treat to drive. NOT!

Traction bars in the rear help with some of the axle wrap. A lot of people will get them when combining a large block with an add-a-leaf.

i have all block in the rear at the moment, and i dont have any axle wrap at all, and under normal driving conditions in which 85% of all lifted trucks are driving under, traction bars are really not necessary. if the lift is done right, you shouldnt have too much of a problem, especially since most lifts are engineered for specific vehicles. usually with an add-a-leaf on a 4"-8" lift, you dont really use too much block, that is the whole purpose of an add-a-leaf.

....Most AAL's, for Rangers anyways, are 1.5-2" of lift. I have a combined 3" block and a 2" AAL in the rear, and a 3" spindle and 2" lift coils up front. On top of that I have a 3" body lift.

3" of block aint nothin. add a leafs are usually about 2", but if you really want to get more serious than that, go for a custom spring. it just cuts down on the amount of block. and blocks dont screw with the ride, so if an add a leaf isnt necessary for ride height and it is just a street truck, go for blocks. you still maintain factory suspension with them, so ride is still good.

Tell that to 540 hp and a 3500 stall. I actually smashed the spring pads flat and smashed the blocks as well. I am tired of replacing u-joint because of axle wrap. All of this will soon be alleviated when my 4 link is done though. If you want a great custom spring either get Deaver or National Spring.

that auction sais nothing about different axles or gears.

38's with either 3.55's or 3.73's? and the biggest stock axles are either a d44 or a d35... sounds like a blast...

and all of that on a 4.slow motor.

thats a waste of a good jeep.

i dont see how you can smash the blocks, that is a little outrageous. whatever shop you were dealing with should have known better to start off with something more extreme, considering the amounts of power and the amount of truck you have.

How much would some Deavers cost me for a 2k2 Ranger?
