I dont really like trucks, but there is a boy where I live that has a pretty nice F-150 jacked up with neon in the chrome grill. The grill has teeth. Looks kool

I can respect that.

Now, a teeth grill, that's kinda' .... well... I dunno.

Some of the best fun I've had was in these trucks. We're lucky to live very close to open-space with some good romping areas.

Too bad the trucks only got around 7 MPG fuel efficiency though. Couldn't hack it for a daily driver these days.

On the hood it had a huge hood scoop with the similar cutouts for the vents. Looked pretty cool, believe it had 33's on it.

I use to be into the "pavement queens" (you know, 44's, 18 kc's, chrome as far as the eye can see, never has or will see dirt) I now build full on rock crawlers and prerunners. The "show" trucks are cool to look at but friggin worthless. My current build is a 74 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4, full 4 linked, coilovered 85 military frame cut and boxed (frame is still in the works) 98 glass front clip, worked small block (that is all anyone needs to know about the engine) TH400, NP241, 4.56's, new frame will be fully caged front to rear, all aluminum dash, cab & engine set back 3 inches for better weight transfer. All of this is being done by me in my own shop.

Yea, I agree. I never thought it was remotely logical to build a truck that could do so much (more than a normal truck) without using its capabilities.

I have a few pics up on the link:

The bigger one had way too stiff of suspension to do much with -- almost died once when it was trying to tip over a cliff because the suspension wouldn't budge on the tilt. That's why I built the 4-Runner with much more suspension action and a lower CoG.

Man, those were fun days. I miss them well.

You have any pics you want to post on the forum? I'd love to check 'em out.

Mooo

Buddy of mine Bought an 04 F350, 4door Long Bed LWB, 4wd, put it up on 11" and 38's

Guy who has money who had an F250 which was just a little smaller sold his F-250, bought a new one, and now has it on 11, maybe 13" ?? and 46's. I believe, they may be 44's

All trucks mentioned were diesels

i am into lifted trucks, not like that though. my girlfriends dad has a show quality jeep rock crawler. the thing is enormous. has to let the air out of the tires and take off the top rack to get it in the garage. thing is all painted (he is a boat fiberglass/gelcoat/custom painter), it is painted underneath as well. it was in 4 wheel mag in october of 03.

I will try to get some pics of the truck this weekend. It is partially torn down due to the frame swap.
