I'm now thinking about a single 10" instead of dual. I've only heard and had sealed setups and I do like how they hit. Would be in whatever the recommended sealed box is. I am mostly interested in SQ, but at least as loud as my 2 SEs were. Doesn't really need to be any louder than that, not like I'm going into comps or anything. Would an XXX be too loud for my setup? I would most likely put a 1200+ amp on it, like the RE 12.1, 9.1, KX 1200.1, viper D1200.1, etc. Needs to be able to hit those notes nice and quickly for music like metal, with double bass. And yes, I have used the search button and have been reading so please don't just post "SEARCH." (in a trunk btw)
Would a W6 or W7 work in this case at all?
