10" MTX 8000 for $37.00 Shipped!!

the difference between the 8104s and the 8104a's are that the a's are last years model or the year before 03 or 02's. they are aluminum and a little bit different. in the ones u guys are getting there is a vent int he magnet as well as the back of the cone is silver. the a models have black on the back of the cone instead of silver and there isnt the vent in the magnet. realistically the new aluminum ones are better due to better heat dissipation that htey worked on creating the a model subs. also as well they fixed the old dust cap rattling that you guys might experience due to a defect that the old models had the 8104s like the ones u guys are getting. i have 6 of the 10" mtx 8000 8104a's as well as 8 of the mtx 8000 8124a's and i got an even better deal then this. i love em and they are loud as well as clean sounding. cant beat them for the price i got them for. also 37.00 shipped isnt too bad but if u look they want $60.00 each for the a models. here is the link http://www.mitekfactoryoutlet.com/products/product.cfm?PN=T8104A there u can tell the bit of difference betweeen the two. they are much newer as well. let me know when u guys get them and how they sound. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wacky.gif.cf4a48f9e6dfe9504ffd2c946fd2f340.gif

I've got 'em, and loud is easy, the question is range //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So [ insert obvious question ] wha'd you get yours for?

too little. the only reason i bought em. considering that place wants $60.00 shipped for the a models, the ones i have, i got a real deal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

**** those are like the ones i wanted, with the aluminum cone, but im not sure its worth the extra cash or not, hopefull i dont get dust cap rattles how would i fix that if i do? superglue?

yea i like the aluminum cones. they are much nicer looking an dthey worked out all the small bugs with the regular cones. they look more like chrome real sweet looking! yea the dust cap rattling issomething i have heard from a lot of the 8000 owners with the model that u have. hope u dont have those problems but all u have to do is just superglue or crazy glue it back on that wouldnt be too much of a problem but i have heard a lot of people that have had that happen to them. ih ave a pair of the 12" 8000s in my car right now and they are knocking like no other and no problems at all. 200 watts rms too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ready2go.gif.6557fa3d88b9eaca9c7b8efb9cbd02ed.gif if u are interested in 4 10s of the aluminum cones that i have we might be able to work out a deal if u want. u can email me at eac95z28@aol.com or im me at eac95z28 if u have aim. hit me up man let me know.

Just ordered 2 of em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Now all I need is a good amp to run to them... any suggestions?

I have a Pioneer-4600MP.

ok...heres my dilemna, i was all hyped up about putting 4 10's in my g/f's trunk(2000 mustang)...then i started thinking about 1 re se 12", or 2 re re 12's...which would pound the hardest? the 4 10's?at this price, it would almost be crazy to pass them up...any suggestions?

thanks

do you have the room? i barely had the room in my taurus, and you could fit a few dead bodys in it. does your GF really need that much bass?...i doubt it..i dont think i need that much bass, why not 2 or three of thosde maybye...that would make it even cheaper, and easier to fit, i would get these for the extra 3 bucks if i was you, they have the actual aluminum cone, and are newer, Refurb is fine with subs, they basically rebuild them anyway

im pretty sure i can make em fit... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif anyway...her trunk is 41" wide, 11" tall, and around 28" deep...thats useable. she definately loves bass...i have two w6 12"s powered by a 500/1 , and she would like to have a lot more than that...so this should be a step in the right direction...i think for the price, im gonna try to fit them anyway, and if i cant fit 4, ill just keep a spare.has anyone hooked these up yet, to see if they are good. ive heard some thunder 6000's that sounded pretty descent, so technically these should be better right?

thanks

shawn

oh yeah...i forgot to ask this as well.....if i had the 4 10' firing towards the back, could i port the box with 4 4" round ports going up?kinda into the rear decklid?or should i just port it towards the back, or should i seal it? i just want maximum bass.

i have a ski hole, neener neener //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
