10" Alpine type X box

I have a 10" Alpine type X in a ported box. The only thing the box is pretty small. Its a prefab ported box and is about 14"H x 16.5" W x 13"D and its made of 1" MDF. I know the sub can perform a lot better in a bigger box or atleast sumthin tuned lower. Anyone know of a box volume thats good for one of these subs?

If anyone wants to give me a design of a slot ported box tuned to about 32Hz i would greatly appreciate it.

No im never goin sealed unless i have to. I have a 12" Type R in a TCAB ported box tuned to about 32Hz n i luv it.

what's a TCAB?where and how much can i get one for? I havd a type R 12" sub and im looking for a box.

For the 10" Type-X, I would do about 1.25 cubes tuned to about 28-30hz. That should sound very nice and have thick low end.

ya i think this box that i have is tuned high so i want one tuned lower.
