10" Alpine SWR-1041D (Old Type R) Wattage Question

Will this subwoofer be able to handle the all 700 continous watts in a 1.75 cu ft vented enclosure (28hz)?

Its rated at 300wrms.

I know that the new ones (SWR-1042D) are rated at 500 wrms can handle more than 1000 watts RMS.

I wouldn't put that much on it daily, but it depends on the music and how long its bumped.

JBL BP600.1 will be giving them more than 700 watts RMS

700 is toooo much for the old ones, 06 models is ok but not old for sure

no problem man! glad i could help. you should see her Wednesday.

personally i would tune a tad lower, maybe 32hz. 2 tens would have plenty of output for me so i'd tune lower to get more bottom end.

they are going to be wired to 1 ohm or 4 ohm? not familiar with that amp.

next door neighbor.....and yehh...it was silly...took every bit no complaints

I think maybe being tuned so low it helped out the most
