hmm so i think im gonna go with a alpine 9885 hu, a kicker 1500rms amp, 10" HDC3, all kicker wiring... hows that sound?

and my car has a 110 amp alt, do you think i need to big 3 it? if its not totally necessary then i dont wanna do it cause itd be a b*%ch to do in my car....

What car is it? The big 3 doesnt have to be done but it would def be a plus. A second battery is probably going to be up there too

For a little bit you'll be ok... Being a 08' I dont think youre going to have any problems w/ your alt w/ only 1500 rms. I'd def look into either a second battery or replacing the stock one w/ something larger though.

My 06' Ranger has a 115 amp alternator but the stock wiring is gay and my lights were dimming very very bad with only an 800 watt amp. I did the big 3 and no dimming at all now. Mine was so bad that every time the bass hit it would make my rpm's go down.
