1 XXX 15 Ported or 2 XXX 15's Sealed For Most Output

I have owned a XXX and i know its downright innefficient and with 2.5KW it didn't get very loud

Ok, one of two things are going on here.

1) You're install was poor. Or

2) You're deaf.

What kind of application was your xxx in?

Yeah, really because I had a RE XXX 18 on a DEI 2400d with a 9.5 cu ft box and it was absolutely insane!!!!! But, I had to get a new setup because the box was too large. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think I am going to go with 2 XXX 15's sealed though.

Toxic Tuan has run over 4KW to an avalanche and still cannot get it to blow.

I dunno dude, my friend's Avalanche was bottoming out with only 1400 watts from my Tantrum in a sealed box. I don't think it could handle 4000.

With that said, I've heard both the Ava and the XXX and preferred the Ava by a wide margin. They were in different installs though so its not really a fair comparison.

i have an re xxx 15 in 4.5 @ 30 running off an orion 2500d @ 1 ohm...
