Okay, as some of you know I was planning on dropping my RE XXX 15 Dual 2-ohm in a 4.5 cu ft box tuned to 32Hz. The amp is a DEI 2400d running @ 4-ohms. So, about 1400 watts @ 4-ohm.
I recently made a "crappy" looking sealed box from my friends scrap pieces of wood. It's probably 2.5 cu ft or so with no polyfill. The output is amazing and I can live with it. Still pounds like crazy and rattles your ears a little. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Now, what would be LOUDER overall - 2 XXX 15's in a 5 cu ft sealed box with or without polyfill (wired @ 2-ohm on the DEI 2400d - 1200+ to each sub) or one XXX 15 in the 4.5 cu ft box tuned to 32Hz as planned (wired @ 4-ohm on the DEI 2400d - 1400+ watts to the sub)?
Let me know what ya'll think would be loudest. Either setup would sound good to me but I want it to be LOUD. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
