So is it all hooked up to a seperate eq to tune?

Would that speaker kit posted b4 work well for the kit?

It depends. Personally, if I had a $200 budget for speakers and wanted to go SETs, I'd do something with a single driver in a floorstanding horn, like a Fostex 6.5" or 4". Or maybe a pair of Klipsch Heresys, used.

also, in that video of the tritrix, did you have a sub in that room? or was all that bass coming from the towers?

The bass was coming from the towers . They have plenty of bass as long as you corner load them.
