1 sub @ 1000 watts vs 2 subs at 1500 or 750 a piece

How much louder would the 2 subs at 750 a piece be vs the 1 @1000 watts? The subs would be Sundown SA 12s with a MB quart onyx being the 1500 watt amp.....not sure wat the 1k would be yet tho would have custom enclosure built for either setup nd it would be in trunk of a cadillac cts thanks guys

 
I have a lvl4 12 in a ported 1.5 tuned at 32, on a saz1500v3, had 2 re se 10d4's, in to spec sealed, on same amp, same gain level, and I am hard pressed to tell diff by ear. Double07 conjured up both boxes. Did not use dmm to set gains, turned it up until loghts dimmed, then backed off until they stopped, right at midway (yeah i know not the 'proper' way) but no heat nor noticable clipping it has a remote gain with clip light, haven't put it in.

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...
