I've got a brand new roll of kicker hyperflex 1/0, gray color. I bought 2 rolls to use, but I don't need 100ft of wire for what I will be doing. I'll just wrap the blue wire in electrical tape or something for ground.

Negative. It's 16 gauge hyperflex speaker wire and 4 gauge ground. I'll be using both.
