i believe they are 3/4" tweets for the RE's. also another question, how loud do these things get. i know you said they are sq tweets but im wondering if they might be louder than the RE tweets as well as playin clearer. i need them to keep up with 2 15's and the re's barely make it imo

If your a hardcore spl guy and like to rail everything allot I would not reccomend these. They would probably hold up to the abuse but not what they were designed for. I have done no testing beyond what I consider a reasonable limit of power input. They were PLENTY loud for me!

i really dont want to go with horns. i gotta find a way to mount them in the doors, then i gotta eq them to hell and back. i just basically want a good componanat set that i can drop in and barely have to play with it to get it to sound nice. i like the re's but the tweeter isnt loud enough.
