Hey desertheat, I have stock tweets that came mounted in the door of my suburban. They are connected to my headunit, do you think that if i just disconnected a set of these tweeters from the rings and spliced the wire into my stock wire, would it work.

You would need some kind of crossover network for them for the oem tweets usually have a small cross built into them. If you crossed them it would work just fine for ya! would really give those efficient paper cones very nice high end detail. Is your chev the one with the little tweet pods above the mid..?
