1 Quality 12 vs 2 Average 12s

Long story short, trying to find a black friday deal.

Can't find quality subs in my price range (trying to find 2 12's from a known brand for 70-80 each.)

Amp puts out 1500W.

Would it be better to buy one good Type-R, or a JL vs two lower quality 12s such as kenwoods or fosgates? Opinions? I have a box for the 2 12's but im sure a box for 1 12 wouldn't be much. Thanks.

If going in a prefab box, find a sub that closely matches your box specs. Box is just as important if not more than the sub itself
