1 DVC in 2-channel

If you want to run in 2 channel mode you will need to only use one of the RCA's. Either the left or the right and split it. The reason is you need to send the same signal (mono) to each VC.

Wny don't you bridge the amp to make it mono and then send it to the sub?

well, i dont know if my amp can handle mono in 2-ohm. the amp is a lanzar viberant 1000watt, and if that can't run in 2-ohm i will run it in 2 channel mode or send 500watts rms in 4-ohm mode and by another sub.

Sounds good. I'd get another sub.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

But if you plan on running this one on 2 channels for now, just make sure that the VC's are getting the same signals.

It would be the same power, the only difference is that one way it would be in mono (bridged) and the other it would be in stereo (unbridged). (although, how you wire that to the speaker(s) ((2ohm, 4ohm, ect.)) will determine the power output.)

If you sub is 4ohmDVC, in mono (bridged) you would get either a 2ohm or a 8ohm load. If you wanted to run the amp at 4ohms than you would use one channel per coil.

If you run one channel to each coil, just remember to send each coil the same signal by splitting one side of the RCA going into the amp. By doing this, even though the amp is not bridged, you will get a mono signal from each channel.
