1 9512 in a civic coupe...how should i face the box?

i have a single 9512 and i'm wandering should i face the port towards me in the car or should i face it towards the trunk lid for SPL?

try a couple boxes if you got the $ to build a few

we've had luck, port and sub forward, TRUNK LID OPEN. 5db or more.

the box i built is perfect. 2.6cubes after port/woofer displacement tuned to 40hz with DD's port design. I'm just wandering which config will give me better numbers with TL.

its really hard to say.

ive messed with plenty of DD subs but never that car

i guess ill just buy a few passes at the next local meca event and get metered both ways. i think its august 17th.

yeah i got 2 of them. i'm going to strap them to this 9512 but i am planning on getting an m3 or a z2 soon though. either moving to 2 3510's or 2 9510's

even with 2 3510s you would still put up some really good #s

Yeah thats what ill probably end up doing. going with some 35's. it'll save me $200 or so dollars.
