1-15L7 or 2-12L7

Ok my friend is doing a stereo in his extended cab truck. He said he has about 6 cubes to work with and wants to be extremely loud and deep. He has a DEI1100d amplifier right now (1100rmsx1@1ohm).

His setup ideas:

1 - 15" Kicker L7 in a 6.0 cube ported box

or

2 - 12" Kicker L7s in 3.0 cube (each sub) ported boxes

Which one will suit his fancy more. Granted the 1 - 15 would be getting the full 1000RMS, and the 2 - 12's (which have more cone area) are only getting about 500RMS each.

Let me know what you guys think would be more loud and Deep. Remember hes looking for, and I quote, "Insane Bass".

Thats what I was thinking, but i just wanted another opinion lol. Thanks man, Everyone else think the same thing?

I know its almost impossible to determine SPL levels but given the circumstances: Exteneded Cab truck, 6 cubes ported to around 35Hz; what are some numbers other people are putting out with the same 15" setup and 1000rms?

I agree, with the power he's running, it will rail the hell out of one 15, but not enough for two twelves.
