1 15 vs. 2 10s

With 1500 watts to each, which would band harder, 2 10s or 1 15? Currently I am running with 2 10's and I tried 1 12 but felt a loss of bass so now I am wondering how 1 15 ported at 35hz would do. Which would bang harder?

1 fifteen has more cone area. But there is more to it than that.

I know it is box size, tuning, power, etc. The box would be 3.5 cubes tuned at 35hz running off of a T1500-1BDCP at 2 ohms.

It may be but probably not that much.

I would just leave tuning out of it for now. 2 10's are very similar to the 15 in cone area. I think the difference between them would be minimal, but the 15 in my opinion has a good chance to get loud. It also depends on what vehicle, how the box layout is, if you have the room.

dude i personally love the sound of the T1, i would run that for sure, then get another down the road if you have to room, they hit the low lowws really well

The new T1s surprised me with the quality of the sound. Much much better than the older silver cone T1s. Plus the grill is a big factor. The T1 and T2 15s do not require lots of air space.

That 15 inch T1 gets loud and very low. Perfect blend of low end deep clean bass.
