1 15 audioque hdc3 vs 3 12 alpine type rs what would be louder?

hi i had a 15 inch audioque hdc3 in a 4.5 cube ported 38hz and about 1100-1300 watts audioque 1200d amp. now im thinking about doing 3 12 alpine type rs in a 7-8 cube box ported 33hz on 2000-3000 watts autotek mm 4000 amp.... what would be louder as much help as possible would be awesome thanks...by the way its all going in a Chrysler 300.

I am going to go with the r's. If you can get in the 50's with I imagine it will kill the hdc

are you and the third post even serious? the type r's will walk all over it. you are adding way more cone area and even more power. I went from a single hdc3 12 off the same power to 4 lower rms 10's off the same amp and they totally walk all over my hdc3.

agreed the r's will own a single hdc now if you steped your game up and did a few hdc's that would be sick aq has the 10's on sale now maybe run 4?

considering the 3 Type R's are double the cone area of that 15, the R's would destroy it. Plus they can take 1000 rms all day. I mean, it wouldn't even be close.
