1 12W6 off a 1000/1

Is anybody else out there running this setup right now??? I would like to get another W6 in the future, but is the 1000/1 too much for one W6 to handle? i seriously recommend using a dmm with a 1000/1 to set the gains. when i had that amp with a jl 1000/1 and a kenwood hu, i only needed to turn my amp up a little under half to get the full 1000watts outta the amp

I bought a 10W6v2 off this one dude...and he said he was pushing a 1000 watts to that 10 inch. I don't know if he was kidding or not...but he seemed serious.
