(1) 12" Polk SR vs. (1) 12" MTX 9500

I have the SR right now and it sounds beautiful but not as loud as I am used to. Anyone have expierence with the 9500 series from MTX? Give some insight

The sub is a beautiful sounding speaker. Blends very well and is very musical and realistic. Also has a good sound stage, so good that you cant tell the woofer is in the trunk. I am just used to running 2 12's SExxx's, so its no where near as loud.

Running it on 1200 watts on a jbl 1200.1. I followed Polks specs and built it in a sealed enclosure. I also did this to save some space. The sub is efficient and can be ran fine on its recommended 750 rms.

Yeah, I like Polk stuff, very interested in the new.

wish they would make some beast polk sr amplifiers.... ive been told early 2006 that some new amplifiers gonna be out in 2007.. still nothing

i dont know any other amplifeir that has what the c400.4 has as far as crossover setup.. for the price

The MTX9500 is an excellent subwoofer, I've seen a lot of SR's but haven't had the chance to have some hands on experience with it.

I do like the 9512's, great SQ and output.

I had a 9515 in my truck off of a Memphis 4000 @2ohms...

Nothing ever went wrong with it, in fact it's still banging strong after 2years... not in my truck anymore though.
