1 10" Hiting 150db's?????

I have a Rockford Fosgate RFR2210-Power DVC 10, And was wondering if it is posibal for it with the full power and the right box be able to hit 150dbs. What do u Think!!

maybe but ALOT of interior work would be needed...hehe this is also pretty much how you can tell if someone is talkin JuNk or not. what i would take to get your sub/subs to do this would also pretty much factor it out as a "daily" driver

Possible, but not likely. There are several out there using 2 or 3 15" subs that struggle to reach the magical 150db mark.

alot claim 150 db but you look at their real scores at a show or go to db drags web site you will see a big gap in performers and about 70% is due to the people not setting it up right and not realizing sealing and strengthening ,boxxing off of the interior is about 1/3 the battle if not more.. if i had a dime for every 150-165 db posser id be rich..it is also really funny seeing them hit 133 db then telling them they are only 25% as loud as they say they are lol

I'll put it this way, it's 99.9% impossible. Even if you did get that .1%, you would have so much money invested it wouldn't even be funny. A guy I know has 1 L7 15", he spent well over $1500 (enclosure, sound deadening, etc.) not including the sub, amp, hu, x/o, so on, and he actually got around a 151-152. So with a 10", I highly doubt it.

I had a 2001 He2 15 in a Sealed 2.5cuft box with 500watts going to it and hit 149 in a 95 civic hb. Thats half the power the sub needs. Now I think a ten could at least hit 130 or higher in the right box

Ranger said he was hitting a 139 with 2 audiobahn 10's. Ranger, did you get your truck metered with just 1-10? 130 does sound kinda low, I think with the right setup you could put 1-10 in the upper 130's, possibly hit a 140. Not much higher though.

what i was saying or meaning is if the 10 has the same technology behind it and only difference is cone area 20 db wouldnt be the difference

I hit 133 with one of them. I have now hit 143.2. I found a small hole in the box, and I also took out my seats to get metered. Big difference in my sheet!!!
