1/0 Terminal rings...

Just curious, is there a specific brand of terminal rings that fit some 1/0 cable better than others? I know this may sound like a stupid question, but recently I bought some 1/0 terminals at a local shop and came home disappointed. They are very small and it seems like my Kicker hyperflex and my Kolussus Kable won't fit these at all. Or is there something I missing here? This is my first time using 1/0. Thanks!

kicker hyperflex is a lil bigger than 1/0.. more like 2/0 same with kolussus

Gotcha. I may have to drive around town tomorrow looking for these. I think I might find them at the boater's supply warehouse place near my house.

They should have the split in the middle. Open that up and they should fit any wire.

I bought 20 off ebay and none I them were acually 1/0 I then bought knu gold ring terminals and fit absolutely perfectly.

i have a question

whats the difference if i get a RF cable with 100% copper or the kolossus cable with 90% aluminum and 10% copper for my big three?

The aluminum is slightly less conductive then the pure copper.Therefore KNU adds strands to make up for the differance.

If you're going to get ring terminals, get the ones for 2/0. I bought a pack of 15 off eBay for AWG Spec 1/0 and none of my wire fit in it.

I bought a 10 pack from him, and they fit Knu's KLM wire perfectly.

I use these. If you're going to solder them, you can just drill a hole in the top. These are tin plated copper.
