1/0 or 4 guage???

I'm running a planet audio amp at 2 ohms trying to get 1200-1400 after setting gains. The amp has a 4 guage terminal, but the previous owner told me it would accept 1/0 knu eko wiring. Should i get the 4 gauge kollosus wire kit from Knu. or the 1/0 klm wire kit and hope it fits??

okay i think i've decided to get this kit...http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOL-AK4

and get a small section of 1/0 ground wire and ground the negative battery to chasis. I would do this step of the big 3 because it is the most important (from what i've heard) and the easiest/cheapest.

Would this wire setup power my system fine and not have any electrical problems??

What is the amps fuse rating? If you are installing ust the one amp the KOL-AK4 will work fine if you are under 150A

Owners manual (under Current Draw or Fuse Rating) or if the amp has fuses on the end panel, add those together.

your fuse rating my guess would be is 160. and i also would say that the 4awg is plenty fine.

knukonceptz- since the kollosus wire is so large would you say the kolossus 4 guage is equivelant to most people's 2 guage wire??

My fuse rating is in fact 160, so would it be okay to have 4 guage with a 120 amp fuse? do i need bigger wire?
