1/0 or 0 what is the differance

can someone explain this iam trying to buy some stuff for my 1/0 instalation kit and i oly see some 1/0 and alot of stuff saying 0

i just bought some from there it is dirt cheap like 1.10 a foot

also look on ebay for some good deals on 0 G blocks and stuff i am finding some good prices

That's not right.

the number in front of the slash denotes the number of zero's.

1/0 = one zero = 0

2/0 = two zero's = 00

etc.
