It's a shame I've got all this perfectly cut and terminated wire laying around and nobody is using it... here's how this works.

Pop your hood, and guestimate the lengths of the follow 3 cables:

1. Alt output to battery positive.

2. Battery negative to chassis.

3. Chassis to engine block.

An easy way to get a close measurement is to take a small piece of string or wire and lay it where the wire will go. Cut it with a pair of scissors to the length you need it to be. Do this once for each of the three cables above, and measure their length in inches.

Once you know the lengths you need, refer to the list at the bottom of this post and find the closest cable that will work for your installation. If you are in doubt, go with the next size up cable because you can always route the cable another way and tie it up out of the way. Some cars can be done for $25 or less plus a little bit of your time... some cars will take more.

They do, the only difference is they sell it as 1/0 and ring terminals.

If your unable to do a simple upgrade like the big 3 without needing a "kit", you need to find a new hobby.

Dude, i was just saying a company could make money off making kits with enough wire and terminals for the Big 3 only....

Not that i need one, but it would help to get the right amount of wire to do it when it's all you need wire for and it would help newbies...

Well considering EVERY car is different, they would have to offer a zillion different kits. It's not that hard to do, even for noobs.
