It's a shame I've got all this perfectly cut and terminated wire laying around and nobody is using it... here's how this works.

Pop your hood, and guestimate the lengths of the follow 3 cables:

1. Alt output to battery positive.

2. Battery negative to chassis.

3. Chassis to engine block.

An easy way to get a close measurement is to take a small piece of string or wire and lay it where the wire will go. Cut it with a pair of scissors to the length you need it to be. Do this once for each of the three cables above, and measure their length in inches.

Once you know the lengths you need, refer to the list at the bottom of this post and find the closest cable that will work for your installation. If you are in doubt, go with the next size up cable because you can always route the cable another way and tie it up out of the way. Some cars can be done for $25 or less plus a little bit of your time... some cars will take more.

The 1/0 holders I have have inserts so they can be used as 4ga also. I have two different kinds... the Tsunami are $20, and the Stinger waterproof ones are $15. Also have a couple of circuit breakers... if that helps.

It's best to measure for accuracy... if you dont know for sure I could do 3 - 24.5" pieces for $26 shipped...
